Pokemon Teases A Lapras Reunion As Ash's Farewell Tour Rolls On

Ash's final run of episodes in the Pokemon anime is nearing its climax in Japan. There are only three more episodes left before Japanese fans say goobye to Ash after following his journey for the last 25 years, and in a series filled with emotional reunions, a teaser has revealed there will be at least one more. In fact, the episode title alone may well have given away who Ash will be reacquainting himself with in the next episode of the show. His trusty Lapras. As Pikachu, who might also be leaving the anime, happily bounces away on a Walimer, the Pokemon becomes distracted by a Lapras speeding towards them. Yes, it's not just any Lapras, it's the Lapras that joined Ash and Pikachu for part of their journey years ago. RELATED: This Year's Pokemon Day Could Be Huge For New Game s As revealed in the synopsis for the next episode, Lapras needs Ash to help it free a trapped Walimer, which is presumably where they surf off to at speed in the clip be...

Dungeons & Dragons Drops Ardlings From One D&D After Backlash

Bad news for Ardling fans. The furry-friendly species that was being playtested for the upcoming D&D One has been dropped after the latest Unearthed Arcana survey revealed they’re not quite ready for prime time. Ardlings were announced last summer as a new playable species that could potentially come in D&D One, the new edition of Dungeons & Dragons that will follow in the wildly successful footsteps of Fifth Edition. Ardlings were a race of humanoid animal hybrids that offered players the opportunity to don an animal head that was different from the collection of anthropomorphic species already present in D&D, such as the Loxodon, Tabaxi, Aarakocra, Kenku, Harengon, and many others. China Expected To Approve Microsoft-Activision Merger

So far, the only countries to have approved the Microsoft-Activision merger are Brazil, Serbia, and Chile. Regulators in the European Union, the UK, and the United States have all issued objections, which has led to Microsoft making grand promises to keep Call of Duty on its rival platforms. Another nation that’s holding out on green-lighting the $70 billion deal is China, but maybe not for much longer. According to Equity Report, the Chinese government is going to approve the merger in the coming days. Related: Is Anyone Even Asking For Call Of Duty On Nintendo Switch? According to Equity Report, two antitrust lawyers working on the deal said that "China's State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) is likely to approve Microsoft's acquisition of video Game publisher Activision Blizzard despite the new process being slowed down by potential complaints." The Legend Of Dragoon Fans Aren't Happy With "Unplayable" PS5 Port

The Legend of Dragoon has an extremely dedicated fa NBA se that has been begging Sony for a reboot for years. When they were met with decades of silence, fans just started remaking the Game themselves, first in RPG Maker, and then with a remaster project that upscaled the Game 's graphics. There's even a Pet ition for a full Final Fantasy 7-style remake. So when Sony threw them a bone with a PlayStation 5 port earlier this week, many were delighted. However, they were quickly left disappointed, as they found that the Legend of Dragoon port is quite possibly the worst example of emulation on the PS5 to date. The game crashes, is full of bizarre audio and visual bugs, and new features in the port can cause it to freeze up. Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League First Appearance Outfits Leaked

It seems that Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is going to offer an outfit set showing the Squad in their original costumes as a pre-order bonus. Just a few days ago, Rocksteady showed off a first in-depth look at Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League during Sony's first State of Play event, giving our best look yet at its looter-shooter Game play. The second half of the showcase put a lot of focus on the Game 's customisation elements (including gear score, much to everyone's annoyance), including showing a bunch of costumes that the team can wear. Related: Did Rocksteady Even Want To Make Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League? Some of the outfits shown off included Arkham Asylum straightjackets, suits inspired by other heroes, and even some that call back to each character's History , like Captain Boomerang having the costume he wore in his first appearance. Don't worry if you're not a Boomer fan, though, as it looks like every anti-hero is g...

HBO Quietly Fixes The Stray Crew Members In The Last Of Us Episode 6

Those who have been watching HBO's The Last of Us adaptation – and there are a great many of you – are eagerly awaiting the drop of episode seven. This new episode will feature Ellie and her friend in what is assumed will be an episode that fills in some of Ellie's past and background. While eyes will be glued to televisions later today, there is still the matter of episode six, which featured some notorious scenes. Eagle-eyed viewers spotted some errors in episode six, with shots showing crew members that should not have appeared within shot. These were a shot near the end of the episode – an overhead shot over a bridge that featured the show's crew in the corner of the frame – and another when Ellie meets a horse named Shimmer, and a stray hand appears near the horse's mouth. Viewers were reminded of the infamous incident in a Game of Throne's episode where a stray Starbucks cup was left on a table and appeared when the episode aired....

Skull And Bones Releases Tie-In Comic, Still No Sign Of The Game

Skull And Bones has been delayed six times and right now, Ubisoft's ambitious pirate Game has no firm release date. There's a silver lining for anyone waiting for something, anything linked to the Game to be made available, though. Skull And Bones has its very own spinoff comic, and it's available right now. I'm actually not sure if spinoff is the right term to use here since no Game has been launched for the comic to have been spun from. Nevertheless, as reported by IGN, Skull And Bones: Savage Storm is a comic created by Dark Horse Comics set in the same universe as the Game will be when it eventually does arrive. RELATED: Ubisoft's Lineup For The Next Fiscal Year Has Reportedly Leaked Co-written by John Jackson Miller and James Mishler, Savage Storm will follow a group of pirates and the crew of a ship they try to make their own as the vessel is hit by a storm. That storm leads to both groups being stranded together on a desert island...

Pedro Pascal Hints The Last Of Us Season 2 Could Start Filming This Year

HBO's The Last Of Us is fast approaching the end of its first season. Just two more episodes to go, but the show's massive success right out the gate quickly ensured it will get a season two. As for how long we'll have to wait for that second season, maybe not as long as you feared. When asked when filming for the next chapter in the adaptation's story might start, Pedro Pascal admitted he's hopeful it'll begin later this year. Pascal spoke to Collider (thanks, Naughty Dog Central) about The Mandalorian season three, but since the start of his massive Disney show overlaps with the end of his massive HBO one, it was impossible not to ask him about The Last Of Us. “In the year 2023? Oh, what season are we in now? We're getting into spring?" Pascal said when asked if there's a chance season two starts filming this year. Team Fortress 2 Finally Gets Update, Adds Community Fix Tags To Workshop

Team Fortress 2 finally got an update last night, and while it isn't the Summer-themed "full-on update-sized update" teased in February (that was later downsized), it's a sight for sore eyes. It fixes bugs such as duplicating bullet effects, and adds a new Workshop tag for community fixes. The duplicating bullet effects fix is actually one from the community, and so it seems as though this new Workshop tag is being implemented in a bid to make community patches more visible and easier to apply to the entire Game , essentially working with modders to iron out TF2's kinks. RELATED: What Happened To The FPS Genre’s Obsession With Deagles? The full list of patch notes can be found on the TF2 subreddit here, but an important highlight is that several of the listed notes are community fixes. "Fixed Stat Clock cancelling out UberCharge and self-illuminating materials on weapons using War Paints" and "Deleted some unused Steam ...

Sons Of The Forest Devs Have "Big Plans" To Improve Kelvin's AI

Kelvin from Sons of the Forest has surprisingly become one of the most beloved NPCs in all of gaming. Sure, he's a little brain-damaged, and he can't hear or speak, but he's just so damn wholesome. He'll proudly flash a thumbs-up even as he chops wood from the log cabin you were trying to build. Who can stay mad at a guy like that? It seems that most players aren't so much mad at Kelvin's destructive tendencies, but are more upset with the few tasks you can give him. Through your notepad, you can order Kelvin to build stuff, gather resources, or sleep. That's it. However, it might not stay that way for long. Related: Sorry Sons Of The Forest Fans, I Don’t Like Kelvin In a new video, OnlyReformer (via PC Game r) compiled a Q&A that reveals developer Endnight Game s' plans for Sons of the Forest after its successful early access launch. Chief among them are "big plans" to expand Kelvin's job possibilities. ...
