The Sims 4 Fans Say Infants Are "Boring" Without Growing Together DLC

Last month, The Sims 4 finally added create-a-sim for infants while announcing plans to make them their own life stage. This was seen as a long overdue update, given that infants have been little more than inanimate objects for nearly a decade. However, one month later, it turns out they're just as "boring" if you don't fork out for the new DLC. As reported by Game sRadar, the community is upset that so many of the new infant features are locked behind a $40 paywall. For instance, if you have the Growing Together expansion, you can teach your baby how to crawl alongside other basic life skills, but all of this is automatically unlocked if you don't have the DLC. On top of that, they only have around four usable interactions if you don't pay, so there's still not much to do with them. Elden Ring Players Discuss Potential New Endings For Shadow Of The Erdtree DLC

Elden Ring has six potential endings: four where you wind up as Elden Lord, and two where you abdicate the throne or just burn the world down. But with so much strife and so many powerful figures in the Lands Between, any one of them could have emerged victorious to usher in a new age. Over on the Elden Ring subreddit, Tarnished are discussing what potential new endings they'd love to see. User EgoisticGolf707 started the discussion with the "Age of the Dragonborns," which we'll assume to be a return of Elden Ring's dragons to a seat of power rather than a surprise Skyrim crossover. Related: FromSoftware Is Not For Everyone The top comment's suggestion for a new ending is one that very well might be the focus of the upcoming Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. Although "Miquella's age of consent" is clearly a joke title, it's a clear reference to Miquella being held captive by Mohg, but rather than remaining in his blood-filled cocoon, Mique

Disney Lorcana Second Set Release Date Confirmed, Launches November 17

Earlier this month, a potential release date for Disney Lorcana's second set leaked via Dutch distributor Boosterbox, suggesting that we'd see the set launch in local Game stores on December 1 later this year. Well, it turns out that this date was off by a couple of weeks, as it's now been confirmed by Disney and publisher Ravensburger that the second set will actually be launching on November 17 in specialist/hobby shops in the United States, with a wider retail release taking place on December 1. With the release date of the second set firmly in place, that means we'll be getting two expansions in the space of three months, as the first set is still scheduled to launch on August 18 later this year. It's already been confirmed that Lorcana will have a similar release schedule to both Magic: The Gathering and Pokemon, with four new expansions launching every year, so it's possible we could see Lorcana's third and fourth set release in a similar time f

Rare Founder To Lick 25-Year-Old Chocolate BAFTA Following Banjo-Kazooie Poll Win

The founder of Rare Entertainment Tim Stamper now finds himself in a sticky situation after Banjo-Kazooie’s big win against Link and Zelda to be named the best gaming duo by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts, resulting in the executive being forced to lick a 25-year-old chocolate BAFTA statue. Stamper made a bold statement earlier this week on Twitter, vowing to lick the statue if Banjo-Kazooie beat out the beloved characters from The Legend of Zelda in a poll to determine the “best gaming duo.” After more than 6,500 votes, Banjo-Kazooie finally took the win, raking in just over 53 percent of the votes, leaving Stamper to follow through on his promise. Sonic Frontiers' Sights, Sounds, And Speed DLC Launches This Week

Sonic Frontiers began a new chapter for the blue blur when it launched last year as Sega confirmed the new title is the first in the series' third generation of Game s. Frontiers won't begin and end with its launch, though. Sega promised a lot of free DLC coming in 2023 and has now confirmed the first of at least three updates will be available later this week, on March 23. Sega sent an email to Frontiers players letting them know when the Game 's first wave of DLC will be here and also revealed what it will be called (thanks, VGC). The Sights, Sounds, and Speed update. Although the email doesn't clarify what will be included in the update, details revealed via Frontiers' roadmap previously explained what to expect when it's rolled out on Thursday. Elden Ring Speedrunner Beats The Game Blindfolded In Just Over 2 Hours

Breaking games via exploits for speedrunning purposes is nothing new. But breaking FromSoftware games is an art. It's all the more satisfying when a game made to be difficult is reduced to dust thanks to a bit of research. However, there are some heroes who take things to another level – like Let Me Solo Her, who is attempting another herculean feat. The latest Tarnished to go down in Elden Ring lore is Twitch streamer Pennek. Pennek has managed to finish Elden Ring while being blindfolded (thanks, Game Rant). You may be wondering how someone could possibly finish such an expansive Game by not seeing where they're going. Well, Pennec didn't just guess his way across The Lands Between; instead, they broke the Game down into segments, traced a path to the next goal, and relied on memory to get there. RELATED: FromSoftware Is Not For Everyone You may also be wondering how Pennek managed to get past some absolutely brutal boss fights without looking a

MTG Collector Offers $50,000 To Throw One Ring Card Into A Volcano

Magic: The Gathering and The Lord of the Rings fans have come together to marvel at the Tales of Middle-earth crossover. A collection that will bring iconic Tolkien characters to MTG, including various cards that will represent the tale's rings. There will also be a one-of-a-kind The One Ring card, and someone is offering $50,000 to whoever finds it providing they can scale a volcano together and toss the card in once they reach the summit. The tantalizing offer has been made by someone called Dan Bock. Yes, for those who have been following this saga, that's the same Dan Bock who previously offered $100,000 for the card providing the seller not tell anyone they had it before the transaction was complete. It seems Bock has changed their mind as they now want to pay half as much to throw the card into a volcano. This Bar Gives Free Drinks If You Can Get A Warzone 2 Nuke

Getting the nuke in Warzone 2.0 isn't easy, and detonating it is even harder. There's a bar in Rome, Italy whose owners believe achieving the feat is so difficult, if you manage to do it while playing Warzone in the bar, you'll drink for free, presumably for the rest of your stay in the establishment. Clips of players trying their hand at getting and then setting off the nuke with fellow patrons watching on, and perhaps a little intoxicated themselves in some instances, have been going viral across various social media platforms. As you can see in the clip below courtesy of mikeandsalvo on TikTok, and shared by Dexerto, the player attempting to deploy the nuke is being watched very closely. Love Is Blind Contestant Subtly Suggests Elden Ring Bosses For Baby Names

Crossovers, in any form of media, are always fun. Seeing characters from other IPs appearing in your favourite content is a weird, fourth wall-breaking feeling that's still enjoyable. Of course things like the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Fortnite have absolutely ruined that feeling, but every once in a while, a crossover comes along that reminds you of that old feeling again. Most recently, for me, it was the Return to Castlevania DLC for Dead Cells – but for those who enjoy reality TV, it's probably when Elden Ring featured in an episode of Love is Blind season four. Based on a quick Whatsapp voice note from my friend, Love is Blind is like any other reality dating show, but the potential pair initially gets to know each other without seeing how the other person looks. Now, you may think that last year's GOTY appeared on the show in the background or that one of the couples tried playing it; but it's actually way better – and subtle too. RELATE

Members Of Congress Accuse Sony Of Interfering With Xbox Sales In Japan

Several members of congress, including both Republicans and Democrats, recently pushed to level the com Pet itive playing field between PlayStation and Xbox in Japan. The politicians are concerned that Sony's Business practices in the country have been preventing Microsoft from com Pet ing on the console market, potentially in violation of trade agreements. As reported by Axios, Senator Maria Cantwell pressed Trade Representative Katherine Tai on the issue during a trade hearing, ten members of congress later coming forward with two letters addressed to Tai and Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo, both of which called for action. No, You Can't Get A CS2 Key By Idling In CS:GO

CS2 is hosting a limited test for a select pool of players which have been picked based on recent CS:GO playtime, trust factor, and Steam account standing. To try and get in, some idled to boost their hours, hoping to make themselves eligible, but Valve has said that this won't work and you're wasting your time. "PSA: Idling on official matchmaking servers in CS:GO does not increase your chances of making [it] into the CS2 Limited Test," the official Counter-Strike account tweeted. "The playtime that counts was your playtime prior to the start of the Limited Test." RELATED: Counter-Strike 2 Needs To Solve Valve’s Gambling Problem So, if you didn't get an invite, racking up the hours isn't going to change that fact. However, plenty of players haven't seen the memo and are still joining lobbies to do nothing but accumulate playtime. Kirby Wouldn't Turn Into A Hot Man If He Ate A Hot Man, Says Game Director

It's amazing that after 30 years of Kirby, only now has someone thought to ask the most important questions. Queries regarding what happens to Kirby's enemies after he swallows them, and since Kirby adopts the powers of some of the enemies and items he hoovers up, would he turn into a hot man if he were to inhale a hot man? Unfortunately, the answer to the latter is a big fat no. Polygon had the opportunity to chat with HAL Laboratory's executive director Shinya Kumazaki (thanks, Kotaku) and finally asked the Kirby creator the important questions. When asked if swallowing a hot man will turn Kirby into a hot man, while Kumazaki said no, he didn't merely brush off the question and move on. He had a proper and serious answer.
