Dead Space Remake's 'Indecipherable' Text Log Has Been Deciphered

Game s handle storytelling and world building in different ways. There's the cutscene-laden, story-heavy approach of The Last of Us; and conversely, you have FromSoftware's method of trickle-feeding story elements via the world itself and random item descriptions. Most Game s, however, tend to approach storytelling with a mixture of both cutscenes and text or audio logs. While some of these logs are pretty straightforward, and tell you about a particular incident, others can be a bit more cryptic, like in the case of Dead Space's 'Indecipherable' text log. As you make your way through the USG Ishimura once again, this time in the remake, you'll come across text logs that will tell you about the horrific events that took place on the ship. However, on your New Game + run, you'll find additional text logs in your inventory, with one of them simply titled 'Indecipherable'. These logs reveal further details about the events of the Game , and even s...

Xbox Survey Asks Players If They're "Done" With Halo Infinite

Halo Infinite was supposed to keep Xbox owners entertained for a very long time, hence its name. That hasn't really gone to plan, and now Xbox wants to know if Infinite players have already left the latest Game in their rearview mirror or if they are still playing/will return to it in the future. The reveal that Xbox is eager to know whether you're still playing Infinite or not, presumably so it can decide what to do with the Game 's future, comes via a survey sent to select players. Shared by Rebs Gaming (thanks, Game sRadar), Xbox's first Infinite question gets right to the point. “Are you done playing Halo Infinite?” Those filling out the survey can either reply yes, no, or maybe. I Hope Elden Ring's DLC Is Something None Of Us Have Guessed

Everyone and their mother, second cousin, and third-removed step-brother is trying to guess where we’re headed in Elden Ring’s potential DLC. It’s like we’re browsing through a Hotel Trivago listing. Maybe we can take a nice trip to the Cthulu-infested ocean where we see pirate ships crumbling amidst the waves from the shores of Caelid, or what about a little walk down memory lane so we can meet former Elden Lord Dragonlord Placidusax in their prime, and if that’s not doing it for you, we can always mosey down to The Lands Between before it was ruined, seeing the already immensely difficult bosses at their height of power. Everyone has ideas, all of them are terrifying (and, to be fair, pretty good), but I hope none of them are right. THEGAMER VIDEO OF THE DAY Elden Ring has been any thing but predictable. It stuck its hand through a mounting pile of open-world blockbusters and pulled itself out, joining Breath of the Wild at the t...

MultiVersus Datamine Hints At Pickle Rick And Samurai Jack Additions In Season 3

Even the most dedicated MultiVersus player would have to admit that Season 2 has been a bit of downer. After steadily releasing new characters to keep the Game fresh, developer Player First has been reluctant to release any more ever since Marvin was added. That could be ending soon though, as a new datamine suggests that a number of characters are possibly being readied for Season 3, including hints at Samurai Jack and Pickle Rick. We'll start with the latter, as MultiVersus reliable dataminer LaisulMV has revealed a new character codenamed "C020B" has been added to the Game 's files. While complete gibberish on its own, the 20th character to be added to MultiVersus was Rick from Rick & Morty, suggesting this new character is a variant. Alongside new Perks codenamed Ketchup, Laser, and Grapple, a lot of fans seem to think that this new character is Pickle Rick, who could turn out to be a fully playable character rather than just a skin. Overwatch 2's Next Free Battle Pass Will Have Enough Credits For Legendary Skin

One of the major complaints levied against Overwatch 2 is how it stifles the first Game 's sense of progression with its new free-to-play model. Matches no longer give you the chance to win loot boxes that can contain any cosmetic, and there are no weekly arcade challenges to earn those same loot boxes. The only way to get cosmetics is to purchase them via the store with real money or to buy the battle pass. However, due to backlash, Blizzard is making some changes for the next season. As reported by PC Game sN, Overwatch 2 is bringing back Legacy Credits that will be implemented into the battle pass. Even if you don't buy the battle pass, the free version will have 1,500 Credits, which is enough to get a legendary skin. If you do buy the battle pass, you'll be able to earn 500 more Credits.
