Insider Claims Metroid Prime 2 And 3 Are Coming To Switch, But Not Fully Remastered

Nintendo dropped Metroid Prime remastered last week just after its Direct presentation, and now that our own Eric Switzer has had a chance to play it, we can confidently say that it's the remaster that fans have been waiting for. "This is the update that Prime deserved," wrote Switzer in his review, "and while I have my nitpicks, this is one of the most impressive remasters ever, and one of the best looking Game s on Nintendo Switch." But if Metroid Prime got the remaster treatment, what about the rest of the Metroid Prime trilogy? According to industry insider Jeff Grubb, Metroid Prime 2 and 3 are also on the way, but they won't get quite the same overhaul as Metroid Prime Remastered. Valve's In The Valley Of The Gods Still Exists, Gets A 2029 Launch Window

Anybody remember In The Valley of Gods? It was a Game announced way back in 2017 from Firewatch developer Campo Santo. The Game was billed as a first-person adventure where you explore ancient ruins in the Egyptian desert with your former partner Zora. The trailer showcases the two of you sneaking into a temple with a 35mm camera to watch the sunrise through a narratively-important statue (I assume). But then Campo Santo was purchased by Valve in 2018, and by December 2019 everyone had been reassigned to help on other Valve projects, which at the time meant Half-Life: Alyx and Dota Underlords. Both of those Game s are great Valve products and all, but it sort of makes you wonder what happened to In The Valley of Gods? Mass Effect Legendary Edition Mod Fixes Defunct Cerberus Daily News

Mass Effect Legendary Edition is absolutely the best way to experience the original Mass Effect trilogy, but the remastered Game s don’t bring back everything from the originals. One of the smaller features of Mass Effect 2 that never returned was Cerberus Daily News, a small section of the Mass Effect 2 home screen that provided the player with news stories from around the Milky Way. A lot of these stories previewed upcoming plot beats in DLC and Mass Effect 3, but some of them were just fun fluff. Cerberus Daily News was updated every day from January 10 to March 2011, with a few small stories in 2012 to tease ME3. After that, Cerberus Daily News went dark, and now the only way to experience these articles would be on the Mass Effect wiki. The teaser also showed a pair of Barry Allens and General Zod in addition to a brief appearance by Kara Zor-El, also known as Supergirl. "Worlds collide in The Flash when Barry uses his superpowers to Travel back in time in order to change the events of the past," the official description for the trailer describes. "But when his attempt to save his family inadvertently alters the future, Barry becomes trapped in a reality in which General Zod has returned, threatening annihilation, and there are no Super Heroes to turn to. That is, unless Barry can coax a very different Batman out of retirement and rescue an imprisoned Kryptonian, albeit not the one he’s looking for.” RELATED: Ben Affleck, Not Michael Keaton, Is The Most Exciting Thing About The Flash The Flash is currently sch...

Zelda Fans Think Tears Of The Kingdom Will Have An Underground World

The Legend of Zelda fans think that the latest trailer for Tears of the Kingdom gave even more evidence that there will be some kind of underground area to explore in the Game . Although most of the marketing for Tears of the Kingdom points to the fact that Link can now take to the skies and explore new areas and islands high above Hyrule, Breath of the Wild fans have been theorising for some time now that Tears of the Kingdom would also include underground areas, something that seems to have been hinted at in the latest trailer. Related: Breath Of The Wild Fans Are Trying To Figure Out Where The Master Cycle Zero Went This theory first began when Tears of the Kingdom was first revealed as "the sequel to Breath of the Wild". The Legend of Zelda fans are once again hoping that Zelda might be playable in Tears of the Kingdom thanks to a new post on the Game 's official Twitter account that makes a point of her having the Sheikah Slate. Yesterday, Nintendo shared a new trailer for Tears of the Kingdom at its first Direct of the year, giving us a better look at the game and its new rail-grinding and car-driving action. Yu-Gi-Oh!'s Latest Bans Hit Tearlaments Decks

Yu-Gi-Oh!’s latest banlist update has taken a hammer to the meta-dominating Tearlaments archetype, all but killing its viability in the current meta. Tearlaments has been a popular archetype since their introduction last October, using tools to dump most of your deck into your graveyard (also known as ‘self-milling’) and triggering your Tearlaments monsters’ effects when they’re sent to the graveyard. Players Debate The Best Examples Of Open-World Level Design

Players have been discussing the concept of open-world level design, pointing to examples of Game s that feature particularly strong worlds in terms of their placement of enemies, puzzles, and various other elements. While the debate remains ongoing, a few Game s have clearly emerged as being among the best. The news comes from a recent post on Resetera. “I've been thinking a lot about Xenoblade Chronicles X lately,” the original poster, Jencks, remarked. “I think the most remarkable achievement of the game is the absolutely masterful level design of the open world.” Jencks went on to say that “perhaps the most impressive aspect of Xenoblade Chronicles X's design is the Skell which is unlocked about 30 hours into the game.
