The Last Of Us Part 1 Players Are Sharing Their Weirdest Glitches On PC

To say that Naughty Dog has botched the PC launch of The Last of Us Part 1 would be very kind. It started out with players becoming increasingly irritated regarding constant crashes and lacklustre frame rates, which led to an avalanche of negative reviews on the Game 's Steam page. However, now that more and more people have started playing, we're starting to see a whole bunch of weird and baffling glitches that are only growing in variety as time goes on. We'll start out with the texture glitches, and there is a whole lot of those flying around at the moment. Not only has Joel's new look - something that people are now referring to as "Steam Deck Joel" - gone viral and swiftly become a meme, but there are other characters also affected by these strange texture issues. Ellie hasn't been able to escape the dreaded texture glitches, and neither has Sarah, whose hair has been turned white and had a plate of spaghetti dumped on her head. One person even ...

Tears Of The Kingdom Skips Mountain Climbing, Link Smashes Through Ceilings

This article covers a developing story. Continue to check back with us as we will be adding more information as it becomes available. Nintendo has just dropped ten minutes of Game play from The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, revealing a bunch of new abilities. One of them will solve the greatest problem that open-world RPG players have faced for more than a decade - climbing up a really big mountain. Now, Link just smashes his head through the ceiling. That's right, thanks to the new Ascend ability, Link can blast into the air as long as there's a ceiling above him. This means that, as soon as you're done exploring a cave, you can use Ascend to take you to a new area above you, and skip the annoying search to find the mountain path on the outside. Related: Wind Waker Was More Innovative Than Breath Of The Wild You can see Ascend in action in the Game play reveal below, at around the 9:50 mark. At first, it's simply used to get Link on...

Ubisoft Won't Be At E3 This Year, Will Hold Its Own Event

It's been revealed that Ubisoft has officially pulled out of this year's E3 event, as the publisher plans to hold its own Ubisoft Forward event during the same time. Ubisoft has announced that a Ubisoft Forward Live event will take place on June 12 later this year in Los Angeles, in which we will likely see updates on many titles the publisher has cooking, such as Assassin's Creed Mirage and Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. This information was revealed by VGC, which has been contacted by a Ubisoft spokesperson who stated the publisher is planning to "move in a different direction" rather than attend E3 this year. The publisher had previously committed to attending this year, although this will no longer be the case. Ubisoft has now joined both Microsoft and Nintendo confirming their lack of attendance this year, while it's expected that Sony will also hold its own event as usual. Final Fantasy 11 Is Scaling Back Support After 20 Years

Final Fantasy 14 might be the MMO that fans of the series are obsessed with nowadays, but that doesn't mean that Final Fantasy 11 has been abandoned all this time. The title still has a dedicated team of developers working on new updates for those still playing, but the Game 's new producer Yoji Fujito has decided that it might be best for some of those developers to move on to things bigger and better. In a statement announcing his replacement of previous Final Fantasy 11 producer Akihiko Matsui (thanks Rock Paper Shotgun), Fujito reveals that Square Enix will be downscaling the scope of the Game 's development team, pretty much suggesting that the Game will receive far less support going forward. He explains that he's doing this so developers who have solely worked with Final Fantasy 11's rather outdated Technology to "gain experience in other development environments" before bringing that knowledge back. Resident Evil 4 Remake's Collector's Edition Is Being Scalped For $500

Resident Evil 4 remake's infamously hard-to-find collector's edition is being scalped on eBay for up to $500, nearly twice its original asking price. The long-awaited Resident Evil 4 remake is finally upon us and, while most of us will be celebrating Leon's return to Spain, those who tried to get a hold of the collector's edition are probably a little bit sour right now. Over the past month, the collector's edition has become infamously hard to find, with Game Stop cancelling a ton of pre-orders for what was already a well-sought-after item. Related: The Island Is Now The Best Part Of Resident Evil 4 As is the case with pretty much every collector's edition nowadays, the limited version of the Resident Evil 4 remake is now being scalped on eBay for much higher prices than it was being sold for. Elden Ring's 5GB Ray-Tracing Update Goes Live Today

Elden Ring's 1.09 update goes live today and it's a big one. A laundry list of adjustments have been made and bugs fixed, but the leading reason today is an important one is because the hefty 5GB update has finally added ray-tracing to The Lands Between. FromSoftware and Bandai Namco promised Elden Ring players ray-tracing would eventually be added to the Game before it even launched. Better late than never, and now those who want to can make Elden Ring's backdrop look even more stunning. Bandai Namco mentions in the patch notes that turning ray-tracing on in Elden Ring may lead to a drop in performance. RELATED: FromSoftware Is Not For Everyone How steep a drop that will be is unclear and will likely differ from player to player. As for how it looks, streamer Lance McDonald has taken the update for a spin. Apparently the ray tracing update has been designed to improve Elden Ring's shadows, but it won't alter the Game 's reflections. Reflections tend ...

Minecraft Teases Another Ocean Update

Way back in 2018, Minecraft received its Update Aquatic, a massive update that totally revamped the underwater biomes with new blocks, new mobs, and new structures. Today, Mojang has just teased what could be another revamp for Minecraft's undersea world. There's not much to the teaser. It's mostly just Alex on a stone block staring out into the deep blue ocean. "There's more out there to discover coming soon..." reads the caption, without discussing what those discoveries could be. Related: Minecraft Players Want The Torchlight Flower To Glow But we do have a pretty big clue. Alex is holding the new brush tool that was added in the recent Trails and Tails update. The brush tool is part of the new archeology mechanic that lets you dig up Suspicious Sand blocks, dust them off, and unearth Mysterious artifacts of long-lost civilizations. You could also get other loot like sticks or emeralds, but you're really after the pottery. Get enough pottery ...

Elden Ring Data Says Malenia Is The Toughest Boss

Elden Ring celebrated its first birthday last month, and while the party was a fairly chill affair in Stockholm, the excitement truly started picking up in the weeks since then. First, it was FromSoftware announcing Elden Ring’s first DLC, Shadow of the Erdtree, and today almost a month later, Bandai Namco has revealed how many times Tarnished have tried to kill Malenia in an extremely informative infographic. It's no surprise that Malenia is the boss with the most attempts on her life. She's largely seen as the toughest boss in Elden Ring and a prestige fight for most Tarnished playthroughs. Second and third place, however, go to Margit and the Limgrave Tree Sentinel, two of the earliest bosses you'll ever face. In fourth place is Radagon of the Golden Order, one of the Game 's final bosses, and fifth is another tough optional boss in Starscourge Radahn.
