Tomb Raider Is Reportedly Amazon's Biggest Commitment Since The Rings Of Power

It seems that Amazon is pushing hard into the Tomb Raider franchise as reports suggest the corporation is wanting to create a "Marvel-like franchise" over interconnected releases in video Game s, film, and TV. Last Friday The Hollywood Reporter (THR) revealed that Amazon is producing a new Tomb Raider film and television show, with Fleabag creator Phoebe Waller-Bridge in charge of writing duties for the TV series. Alongside that, Amazon Game s is publishing the next Tomb Raider Game . According to sources THR has heard from, the Tomb Raider franchise is one of Amazon's biggest investments since the Lord of the Rings adaptation The Rings of Power. Sony Teases God Of War News As Kratos' Axe Spotted In London

This article covers a developing story. Continue to check back with us as we will be adding more information as it becomes available. A huge repica of Kratos' axe from God of War Ragnarok has appeared in London, teasing some news for possibly DLC. The installation is part of Sony's "Live from PS5" event, which kicks off today. The leviathan axe will be in London until tomorrow evening, complete with Sony's fake police cordon and news crew. It's not clear what this stunt is in aid of, although it's possible that such a dramatic advertising campaign means that some pretty big God of War news is on the way. Related: The Game r Staff Cooks Recipes From The God Of War Cookbook As you can see in the images shared by PlayStation UK below, the axe is ridiculously detailed. Kingdom Hearts Fans Are Sharing The Series' Worst Quotes

Kingdom Hearts fans have been sharing some of the worst quotes from the series, including such hard-hitters as "That was undeniable proof that we totally owned you lamers", and "SUFFER". If there's one thing that's universally known about Kingdom Hearts, it's that its story can be a little... messy. From its complicated subplots that make playing every unnumbered title a necessary thing to introducing elements like time Travel and somehow cheating death, it can be a challenge to follow Kingdom Hearts on the best of days. To make matters worse, Kingdom Hearts has some pretty infamously cringe, weird, and outright bad quotes that fans are eagerly taking the chance to roast. EA Scrapped A Diablo-Style Dragon Age Mobile Game Before Going Free-To-Play

Over the past decade, mobile gaming has undergone quite a few shifts to become the behemoth that we know it as now. There's a big emphasis on free-to-play nowadays, as titles like Fortnite, Pokemon Go, and Marvel Snap all provide very unique experiences for players. That wasn't always the case though, as once upon a time developers made full-fledged, paid-for titles that actually told a story, rather than the ones released today that cater towards more of a pick-up-and-play mindset. IronMonkey Studios was one such developer, one which managed to create a handful of successful titles back in the day, including a surprisingly popular Dead Space mobile Game . Mass Effect Infiltrator was another fairly decent Game - nothing that would blow your mind, but unlike anything that'd been seen on mobile devices during the time. IronMonkey Studios was acquired by Electronic Arts back in 2010, after which they were apparently told to make mobile titles for a number of franchises,...

Kai Cenat Has Been Banned On Twitch

When it comes to Twitch streamers, there aren't many as popular as Kai Cenat. Sitting up their with the likes xQc and Hasan, the creator has exploded in popularity fairly recently with a variety of types of content. Just like with a lot of Twitch streamers though, Kai Cenat has a fair amount of controversy swirling around him, and he's now been banned from Twitch for a fourth time. However, unlike most bans that Twitch dishes out, Kai Cenat's fans are still trying to figure out exactly why he's been temporarily removed from the platform. The prevailing theory is that in Kai Cenat's most recent stream, he passed out while on camera after eating too many edibles. While light drug use is acceptable on Twitch as long as the drug in question is legal in the streamer's country/state, passing out live on Twitch could possibly be regarded as self-destructive behavior which isn't allowed. Xbox's Carbon Aware Update Has Sent Republicans Into A Frenzy

A little while ago, Xbox announced plans to make its Xbox Series X|S consoles a little more energy efficient. Called Xbox Carbon Aware, this new feature would basically schedule automatic updates to happen when regional carbon intensity data shows emissions for your area are at their lowest. This would mean your Xbox Series X would use solar, wind, or other renewable energy for automatic updates rather than non-renewable sources like oil or coal. Xbox Carbon Aware would also allow the user to set their own active hours so that their console would shut down during non-active hours. While these features were enabled automatically, all of them could be adjusted or even disabled by the user in the Xbox settings. However, Republicans seem to have overlooked this fact and instead went on the offensive, calling Xbox's Carbon Aware features some sort of assault on conservative values. Chengdu Hunters Say Goodbye To Fans As Overwatch Goes Offline In China

One of the five Overwatch League teams that operate from China has commented on the collapse of Activision Blizzard's deal to release Game s in China. This comes as Overwatch 2 was taken offline in the region, barring any fans from the region from playing the Game . As the Game was taken offline yesterday, Chengdu Hunters issued a solemn statement to fans, saying "goodbye, and see you again". It definitely seems that this isn't a permanent goodbye, but it does raise questions as to how Chinese players are meant to find teams and practice until Blizzard manages to secure another Chinese partner to publish its Game s. HBO's The Last Of Us Originally Planned To Reveal Tess' Backstory

We're now two episodes into HBO's The Last of Us, and it looks like the show continues its faithful adaptation of the Game . While Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey's performances have been fantastic, the supporting cast has also done a fabulous job. There are plenty of memorable characters Joel and Ellie come across in TLOU, but the one that's featured most prominently till now is Tess, played by Anna Torv. In the show, she plays Joel's partner in crime and a love interest of sorts as well. That's all that we know about her, as we're not given any details in the Game either. However, it seems that Neil Druckmann and Craig Mazin initially planned to reveal more about Tess and her past (thanks Euro Game r). Elden Ring Community Helps Player Keep His Character "As Naked As Possible"

The Elden Ring community is one of the most dedicated and inviting gaming communities you can come across. When it's not busy digging up lost bits of lore from the underside of Radahn's horse, the community will probably be helping out some poor sod with a build to go up against Malenia. This is mostly because FromSoftware Game s are hard on their own, you don't need other people ruining it for you. So, the community will help you out with whatever you need. As is the case with Redditor Sogeking1738. They asked the community to help them increase their character's poise, while keeping them as naked as possible. There was no judgement by the community – no questions or doubts. Just answers to help their fellow Tarnished out. If they want to stay as naked as possible, that's on them – Erdtree protect them. The community does not cast judgement, it only helps those in need. THEGAMER VIDEO OF THE DAY RELATED: Elden Ring Players Deba...

Destiny 2 Players Get Free Month Of GeForce Now After Stadia Shut Down

The shut-down of Stadia hasn't really come as a surprise. Google was initially a little withholding of the platform's streaming formula, but once people learnt that it wasn't the 'Netflix for Game s', the idea immediately felt less appealing. Add to that Google's notorious habit of starting off projects and abandoning them at the first sign of inconvenience. While, the platform won't be direly missed as such, the few who put in the hours will surely feel short-changed – especially with live service Game s. It seems Destiny 2 developer Bungie wants to hold on to the handful of Guardians who have decided to play the game via streaming platforms. While the developer shut down its Stadia servers well over a week ago, the platform itself shuttered barely three days ago. Bungie took the opportunity to try and sway these players onto another video game streaming platform, Nvidia GeForce Now. THEGAMER VIDEO OF THE DAY RELATED: I'l...

Ubisoft's Lineup For The Next Fiscal Year Has Reportedly Leaked

Ubisoft is going through a bit of a rough patch at the moment, having recently canceled a bunch of titles and pushed back Skull & Bones for a sixth time earlier this month. Adding to its growing number of concerns is now an alleged list of every Ubisoft title tipped to release at some point during the next fiscal year, that being the time period between April 1, 2023 and March 31, 2024. Insider Gaming has reported that 11 Ubisoft Game s are expected to hit store shelves at some point in the next year and a bit, including big titles such as Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and Assassin's Creed Mirage. These are arguably the biggest titles the publisher is reportedly planning to release during this period, although Game s such as The Division: Heartlands and the very troubled Skull & Bones are also on the docket. Overwatch League Teams To Start Collective Bargaining Against Activision Blizzard

It's been revealed that the majority of teams in the Overwatch League have reportedly hired a law firm to begin the collective bargaining process against Activision Blizzard. This comes after many teams within the league have been dealing with high operating costs, lack of viewers, and struggles to remain sustainable. According to investigative reporter Jason Wolf, teams are looking for some kind of economic relief after each spent between $7.5 to $10 million in franchise payments over the past six years and another $1 million in team maintenance. Combined with ever decreasing viewership among fans, and it's easy to see why these teams are struggling to stay afloat.
